Nicola would have been 29 today had she not tragically died in 2003. Her daughter Abbey was born in 2001 and I am caring for her now. Abbey is 7rs old next month.

I miss her, and wish she could be here to see Abbey grow up. I was looking at photos on Facebook groups for Leasowes and Walton schools that Nicola attended and recognised some friends. I might just join the groups to add some myself.

Speaking in Tongues

I am a Born Again Christian and although this has nothing to do with my business, I just felt I had to share it with anyone who was interested. I am posting it on all my blogs.

Last week at cell group the topic ended on speaking in tongues. I am the only one who had not spoken in tongues so I was given a few pointers on how to do this. I know God has given the gift to all his children but I have close rapor with God I did not worry that I couldn't. I had tried a few times since I became Born Again but did not worry that it never happened.

For the past week I have been praying hard, trying hard and reading a lot of scriptures particularly Acts chapter 1. I led the cell group this week and we are doing a session on The Holy Spirit and this weeks topic was Works of the Holy Spirit. While going through Bible scriptures to lead this, I thought it was very appropriate that I should get this topic to lead. God spoke to me at church on Sunday and said everyone should pray in faith, ask and you shall receive. and the final topic was speaking in tongues and if anyone wanted to be prayed for on the subject to go forward. Well I did, but still came away not able to speak in tongues.

At our cell group meeting on Tuesday, I was given the advice to stop thinking about speaking in tongues and to concentrate on praising God.

Alleluiah! I was on my way to work this morning, singing and praising God to the accompaniment of cd's when I starting speaking in tongues! Glory be to God. Ask and you shall receive.
I am so pleased I am like a school kid going on holiday. Now, I feel I can get closer to God when I take my son to a Healing Service at our Church on the 18th May. It is very encouraging and makes me say, "When" my son gets healed, not "If"......

Everything moves too fast for Me! Prosperizer Changes

Well, would you believe it? I have been in Prosperizer for 3 months and only just set up my residual income site a couple of days ago, and they have changed the program. I am glad they are keeping the RIS though after I have put so much effort into it. I will spend time tomorrow going through the new site and see where I have to make changes to accommodate. I will report on my findings as soon as I have checked it out.

The Prosperizer Team have stopped using their site to promote e-lottery, uvme and GDI. These are still great programs and I am only promoting e-lottery, so will continue to do so.

Apologies for TopItAll Crafts website Problems

I am sending a big apology to all who have tried to access my online craft shop lately. I am not a website guru and although learning new stuff all the time, I do depend on my web host, Paul, from Hosting Duo to sort out my problems, but there had been a bit of a communication problem and so Paul never got my message. Thankfully, he is back, and the problem was sorted within half an hour!

I tried everything that I was capable of, and although I sorted the 404 not found page from appearing, I still had the problem of a big red banner at the top of my site, telling me what to do. Unfortunately, one look at the page suggested, sent me running back, quite quickly, to my home page without making any changes. I don't know how Paul does it, but then, if I were to ask him to ask him to set up a Cisco router, I bet he wouldn't know where to start! Yet I could do that, quite easily, because that is what I have been trained in when I was working for the County Council. Everyone to his own, I say, which is why I leave the website back office stuff to Paul. I add the content after making or buying it, and I am quite content to do just that.

I must admit, that I have been neglecting my craft website while I have been setting up my marketing website, e-books and relevant splash pages, etc. When all is in place I will be able to look after both sites comfortably, but until then, expect work to be slow on my craft site. So, sincere apologies to all who have accessed my site lately and been confronted with the red banner! Looking Up!

Thankfully, things are on the up! Sorted the garage accounts out for my son and have been developing stuff to put on my marketing website. I have spent time sorting my emails into folders for the various programs I am in and also in my ebusiness document folder on my hard drive. I like to be organised so that it is easy to switch my business head between the different modes.

I am currently working on a spreadsheet so that I can see at a glance what my ebusiness is costing me, and the effects that each branch is costs in relation to signups and income. I am also compiling another for my traffic exchanges so that I can follow when I should post adverts and credits that I am accumulating. This was a tip that I got from BusinessVibe article here about safelists. Good reading and I can recommend it to anyone, whether seasoned internet marketers or just starting out! Having a bad streak!

Talk about Having a Bad Streak.... I tried updating my Top It All crafts website and it is now asking for patch upgrades that I am at a loss and I am having trouble contacting my web host. How embarrassing to be promoting my site through all my favourite exchange ad programs, only to find you are confronted with 404 not found error! Even worse, that I cannot fix it!

Then, I thought I would work on my new site, Top It All Marketing.com and find I cannot log in there either. Apparently it was a 30day trial and I have been busy so not even logged in and now I can't.

The next thing to go wrong, is while working for my son at his garage. The data file has been getting corrupted since Monday and although I keep rebuilding the file, it goes wrong again when I try to input data. It finally gave up and would not let me log in at all so I had to call the manufacturer's help line. Got it fixed now but one problem still to solve.... I am having to go into the garage again tomorrow to input the weeks work or I will get behind again! I have already spent the whole week, re-entering data only to find it corrupts again. Let's hope I have solved it now.

FROGS - Build Your List!

For anyone to do well in any mlm (multi level marketing) venture, the most important step is to Build a List. To create a successful mlm needs prospects turned into affiliates or members. The only way to do this is to create a list. There are many ways to do this, which I will go through and one of the first ways is called:

Listing Your "FROGS"
Using a notebook, make headings -

Friends, Relatives, Organisations, Geography, Same

and then start to list......

Friends, list every friend that you know now and have know in the past, from work, neighbours, old school friends, just get them all down. It doesn't matter whether you have lost touch. get them on the list. You'll have such an adventure finding them and it will turn up loads more prospects in the process!

Relatives, every relative young and old, doesn't matter, put them on the list. Older relatives are a great source of family information and can give you loads of names that you didn't know existed. And guess what? Sometimes they even join themselves! How many of your older relatives do you think would like to supplement their pension these days?

Organisations, is everybody that you know from your clubs, societies, sports, church etc. Put them ALL in your prospect book under the relevant section. They might be duplicated and crossed referenced from other parts of your prospect list such as friends. Doesn't matter, put them down again. It may give you inspiration to come up with other names.

Geography, who do you know in another suburb, town, different part of the country, Europe, or even the rest of the world? How many relatives do you have overseas? Australia, New Zealand, America, South Africa? Have a relative with the British Forces stationed overseas? The great thing is expatriates always come into contact with other Ex Pats, and will spread the word for you.

Same, which simply means, right down all the relatives of the friends that you know, all the friends of the relatives that you know, the relatives AND friends of the people that you know in your organisations, and the same with your geography list. If you know somebody elsewhere, do you know there friends or any of their relatives? They all need to go on your list.

Hints and Tips to Aid Prospecting with 'FROGS'

Get hold of all your old diaries, address books, birthday and Christmas card lists (all the cards you receive during the year are really handy as memory joggers), client lists, club memberships etc. Finally, get yourself a Yellow Pages if you still have one around the house. If you don't have one, see if you can borrow one from a neighbour. Somebody has to still have one somewhere.

Now, sit down in a quiet place with your new prospect book and start writing, if you have the phone number and email, great, if not just put the name down. We can get the email addresses and phone numbers afterwards using the script in Step One, right now, we just want the name down.

Get into a flow, if you stop, skip to another section, if you get a complete block, pick up the yellow pages and start to look at the categories to jog your memory.

Who do you know who is an architect? I have just had one join the business! Start at 'A' in the categories section and work through. You will be amazed at how many names you come up with.

Keep the list going and go back to it every time another name pops into your head. If you work really hard at this over a couple of days, you should be able to build a list of 200, to 300 and 400 names. And that's just the start!

The important thing is, you must not at this stage, pre-judge. Don't start to worry about who would or couldn't join you, whether your friend at work would do it, whether Uncle Fred would have the time, whether they are to old, to poor, to rich etc, just get the name down on paper.

If you ask, you will get some fantastic referral leads and sign ups from people who tell you "it isn't for me".

It is our job just to give prospects the facts, and then let them decide.

I promise you that if you go through this process you will have more prospects and people joining your business over the next 2 to 3 months than you will know what to do with!

And the great thing is the more you do it, the better you will get, and the more confidence you will have! The great thing is, once it starts to happen your self-belief will go through the roof.
